Happy New Year 2019
Posted by Lighting Design International on 16 Jan 2019
Last year was another busy year not only for us but the whole Lighting Industry.
Projects that came to completion: Kimpton Fitzroy, Radisson Blu Mercer Street, The May Fair Kitchen, London Livery Company, The Savill Building, Heckfield Place, L'Oscar Hotel, Private Villa in Baku and a selection of private superyachts (to name a few).
Sally returned to the Monaco Yacht Show in September, where she joined the panel of judges for the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. Graham Rollins travelled to Chicago to accept the award of Merit for Oxford Street Estate. Site visits took our designers around the world, to such exciting venues such as the South of France, Amsterdam, Baku, Cairo and Marrakech.
Our designers were involved in various events throughout the year sharing their knowledge and ideas. We hope you had the opportunity to listen in on Sally’s panel discussion at the Sleep and Eat Event or learnt about Bespoke Luminaires in retail at Graham Rollins’s talk at the LuxLive. Senior designers, Alex Bittiner and Karen Smart, spoke at the Darc Room Live.
Whether it is looking forward to the start of new projects or the completion of existing projects, Lighting Design International are excited for 2019.
Here's to another year creating more adventures in light!
