Creating Adventures in Light for more than 30 years
We at Lighting Design International are looking for a CAD Technician to join our creative team based in West London to work on exciting design projects both in the UK and worldwide.
The applicant must have an excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD (especially 2D drawings) with at least 1 or 2 years of work experience and able to comply with Lighting Design International CAD Standards. Design awareness is also essential and some experience with Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp would be useful. A working knowledge of Excel would also be useful for compiling technical schedules. A knowledge of Rhino, Revit and Dialux would be helpful but are not essential.
The candidate must be an enthusiastic team player and have good communication skills, a keen eye for detail, exacting standards, good time management skills. They should be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and be willing to take on additional ad-hoc duties as required. We are constantly seeking to innovate and always welcome constructive input from all staff members.
The candidate will be working with Designers at all levels to develop lighting design concepts, drawings and specifications for world class architectural projects.
The salary will be commensurate with ability and experience.
